 I have watched people become more and more casual in the way they dress over the past ten years. It is amazing to me how little people think about what they are wearing. Every time I put on my college throwback football jersey, I am reminded of some of the very best days of my life.  It is, of course, an authentic football jersey.  Let me tell you that I do not watch college sports much anymore. 

I have, of course, an NFL football jersey for my favorite team, the Raiders, and they do wear it for every single one of their games.  But there’s something about authentic football jerseys from back in the day that really make the memories start to flow.  It was one of the best times of my life, and it is nice to have an article of clothing that really takes me back to it. 

I can put on my authentic football jersey, and it is like I am really there again.  Although I was never on the starting line, I did get to share in the glory of my college football team, and that made a big difference in how I lived in how I felt about myself.  Those days may be gone, but they do live on through my authentic football jersey.  It really does more to make me happy than any other article of clothing that I own.

My sister used to work for the American Eagle Outfitters warehouse in our local industrial park. She did not sell American Eagle clothing, but she did work very closely with the clothes.
