Tanning Products

You want to know what the world needs? A healthy tan! Or at least everyone seems to think so. Now, the two terms “healthy” and “tan” are a bit contradictory. As we all know by now, tans are really not that healthy. In fact, they lead to premature aging and skin cancer. None of us want these things.

Luckily for Caucasian individuals everywhere, there are now some tanning products available without side-effects. Yes indeed, you can have your cake and eat it too. Say hello to the spray-on tan and infinite other sunless tanners.

Why is it that everyone wants a tan in the first place? From what I hear, Coco Channel started this whole trend back in the day when she returned to Hollywood with a vicious tan she acquired while on vacation somewhere. Read more »

Sunless Tanning Lotions

Let me take a wild guess and say that you hope to be buff and tan this summer. I don’t care if you’re male or female, a teenager or middle aged, chances are you want to look great. Naturally eating right and working out is a major part of this process.

Generally human beings can’t look their best without some hours put in at the gym. Then there’s that whole tanning business. Do you do it? Needless to say, there are a few different options at-hand now days. From classic sun-bathing, to tanning beds that can break the bank, to more recent body airbrushing, to countless sunless tanning lotions, you get to pick. Just be sure you choose the right one that doesn’t damage your skin and future health.

Spray Tanning Booths

The summer would not be complete without a golden tan. As a matter of fact, neither would any of the other seasons. In this trendy new millennium it’s just not acceptable to run around with pale skin. Sadly this isn’t a good thing for all of us.

To tell you the truth, I have no intention whatsoever of sunbathing or hitting up the local tanning salons. I try to “just say no” to premature aging and skin cancer. And there’s no way I’m going to pay for it. However, laying on the beach and cancer in a box are no longer the only routes to a perfect tan. The cool thing about acquiring a tan now is you can actually have your cake and eat it too.

If you don’t know where I’m coming from, it’s high time you checked out spray tanning booths. It just may be your solution to a pale complexion. Read more »

Aveda Hair Products For A Healthier Head Of Hair

Although our favorite movie and television stars make it look easy to have great hair, it takes a lot of work and the right shampoo, conditioner and hair styling products. It certainly doesn’t hurt to have your own professional hair stylist but you can still have a great hairdo just by purchasing salon quality Aveda hair products. Many hair salons have them available to their clientele.

Many people think that you can use any shampoo or conditioner on your hair. The problem with this approach is that if you have dry hair, it can become brittle if there’s not adequate moisturizer in the products you are currently using. The same can be said if you have oily hair and you use products that contain too much moisturizer. With Aveda hair products you can choose the shampoo, conditioner and other solutions that are made just for your hair type.

The cost will likely be a bit higher than you’d expect to pay for a drug store brand product, but the extra money you’ll be spending is well worth the end result. Trying to control frizzy hair or repair split ends is a hassle that most women would love to not have to deal with. These hair challenges seem to be inevitable for those of us who color, blow dry and flat iron our hair everyday. Using Aveda hair products can help make those and other hair problems a thing of the past.

While you are having your hair done it’s the best time to ask the stylist about which hair care products will help keep your locks healthy. He or she will be able to recommend the Aveda hair products that are best suited for your specific styling needs. They will also be able to explain how often you should be washing and conditioning your hair.

Many people mistakenly believe that their hair needs to be washed each and everyday. In most cases washing your hair every second day using Aveda hair products will prevent it from becoming dried out and will keep it looking great.

Hair salons are indeed an ideal place to buy quality products but there are other places where they can be purchased. Some online vendors carry a selection of Aveda hair products at a price that may be reduced.

This can be a great deal if the shipping and handling costs don’t outweigh the discount. Compare the prices and then order enough to keep your hair looking fantastic. Keep in mind that it’s not just for you.

Each and every member of your family can use these products to have a healthier head of hair.

Where To Buy Your Haircare Supplies

You love your hair, no matter how much you may complain about it. I do a lot of complaining, but when my hair looks good, I love it. I have unruly curls and it takes a lot of work to keep them healthy and looking good.

No matter what your hair type may be, you probably spend a lot of money on hair care supplies. This can get out of hand when you don’t know what to buy or what you really need to help your hair look its best.

There are so many different types of hair care supplies out there that you may find that even your stylist isn’t sure which one really works the best. Many brands work, but everyone’s hair has a unique problem that cannot be fixed by using the same old hair care products that perhaps their friends or family may use.

Your hair also changes as you age, and anything you do to it may change the way you must care for it.

If you have colored or highlighted your hair, you have to go out and buy a whole new line of hair care supplies. Hair that has been dyed is different and not as strong as hair left in its natural state. You need hair care supplies that may offer extra protection for your hair, and also ones that can help replace some of the moisture your hair may be lacking due to the processes it may have undergone.

If you have permed or straightened your hair, you will also find that you need new hair care supplies, and you may have to buy things you never had to buy before. You may find that frizz or breakage is a bigger problem than you thought.

You can find good hair care supplies through your salon, and if you have really healthy and unaltered hair, you can get away with some of the drugstore brands you see on the shelves of most stores. Talk to your stylist, but don’t be pressured into buying high-end hair care supplies if you think you really don’t need them.

For the most part, the products you find for sale in a salon are indeed worth the price, but you may find that you don’t need them. You can look online as well, but remember there are a lot of knock offs out there.

If you need an expensive brand, you are better off buying your hair care supplies straight from your stylist so you know you are getting the real thing.
